Planning/Code Enforcement Department/OSHA

PROBLEM: Nothing is more aggravating for homeowners, landlords, contractors, entrepreneurs, etc. than dealing with a slow, mindless, obstructionist, bureaucratic regulatory agency. Stories abound in Omaha about code enforcement, OSHA regulators, etc. who have made arbitrary and/or inconsistent enforcement decisions. Fighting these agencies is both costly and time prohibitive, resulting in countless losses to the community's economic vitality.
SOLUTION: Omaha needs innovative, cooperative, and vital regulatory agencies. Agencies that will work with the community and businesses to improve property, housing, and the overall quality of life.
